As a proud Gen Xer navigating midlife, I share my personal experiences and hard-earned lessons to motivate you to make thoughtful choices now—so you can prepare for the ups and downs of aging and truly thrive at every stage of life.
With over 30 years of experience in project management and healthcare administration—including leadership roles at a Fortune 5 company—I bring a wealth of experience in planning, strategy, and navigating complex challenges. But it’s my lifelong role as a caregiver that has deeply shaped my understanding of aging.
When my aunt passed away without a Will, the emotional and legal chaos that followed was a powerful wake-up call. Even though I was young and had more liabilities than assets, I created my own Estate Plan in my early 30s. That proactive step has helped me navigate aging with confidence and less stress—and it’s a lesson I want to share with you.
Aging On Your Terms is more than a blog or a YouTube channel—it’s a movement to inspire real, honest conversations and proactive planning. It’s about facing reality with eyes wide open, embracing control where we can, and preserving energy for what we can’t control.

Some people like to reflect deeply on their current season, savoring growth and gratitude. Others choose to laugh through it, embracing the mess, the humor, and the wonderfully weird parts.
But life doesn’t always fit neatly into the traditional seasons we know. Sometimes, those familiar labels don’t capture the full story of our journey — and that’s perfectly okay.
